What you'll do
Teach English language to classes of 20–35 students
Run conversation clubs and reading groups
Support teachers with lesson planning and materials
Coach football, basketball or other sports
Run after-school activity clubs
Participate in community events and school festivals
Requirements
No formal teaching qualification required (TEFL welcome)
Minimum age 18
Basic English to native level
Minimum commitment 4 weeks
Police/DBS clearance (we guide you through this)
Completed pre-departure training module

Placements range from Kathmandu valley schools to village schools in Sindhupalchok, Kavrepalanchok and Dolakha districts — varying levels of remoteness based on your preference.
No — but it helps. We provide a pre-departure training module covering classroom management, lesson planning and cultural context.
School starts at 10am. You'll teach 4–5 periods of 45 minutes. Afternoons are free for exploring, Nepali lessons or community activities. Weekends are completely free.
With a vetted host family or in volunteer housing depending on your placement location. All accommodation is inspected before placement.
