Community development work in rural Nepal — supporting local NGOs with health education, women's empowerment programmes, infrastructure projects and post-earthquake rebuilding. Properly coordinated, long-term placements with organisations that will still be there when you leave.

We only place volunteers with organisations that have made specific requests for the skills or time you're offering. We don't send volunteers to create work for local staff.
Rebuilding and retrofitting projects in earthquake-affected Sindhupalchok district; health education in Dolakha; women's cooperative support in Kaski. Matched to your skills at application.
None to start — most NGO work is coordinated in English. We provide a pre-departure Nepali basics course and a phrasebook.
