Cancellation policy

Trek and tour cancellations

90+ days before departureFull refund

Volunteer placement cancellations

Volunteer placements can be cancelled with a full refund up to 60 days before the start date. Inside 60 days, the placement fee is non-refundable but can be transferred to a future start date within 12 months.

If we cancel

If Unique Gap Years cancels a trip for any reason (including force majeure events), you receive a full refund of all monies paid within 14 days.

Changes to itinerary

We reserve the right to modify itineraries for safety, weather or operational reasons. Where a significant change is made, we will offer an alternative itinerary or a full refund.
