Is this ‘voluntourism’?
No placement should replace a paid local role. Programmes are shaped with local partners, and the placement scope is agreed before you travel.
Do I need teaching experience or a TEFL certificate?
Requirements depend on the placement. We confirm the role, supervision and any required qualifications before matching you with a programme.
Can I join if I am not on a gap year?
Yes. These programmes also suit career breaks, university summers and other extended travel windows; the listed duration stays the same.
What about safety?
Each programme includes a named in-country coordinator and 24/7 support. Route-specific risk and support details are provided before you decide.
