Day by day
Your guide adapts each day to conditions, wildlife and how the group is going — the shape stays, the detail flexes.
Wildlife is free-ranging. Species and sightings vary with season and conditions, and no animal encounter is guaranteed.
Arrive at Victoria Falls and meet your guide. Afternoon orientation walk to the Falls rim. Welcome dinner and safari briefing.
Full morning in Victoria Falls National Park rainforest. Afternoon Zambezi sunset cruise with hippos and elephants along the banks.
Cross into Zambia by foot across the Falls Bridge. Zambian side viewpoints, Knife Edge Bridge, and David Livingstone Museum.
Morning drive across Botswana border to Kasane — the gateway to Chobe National Park. Afternoon: first game drive along the Chobe Riverfront.
The highlight — a full day on the Chobe River by boat. Morning and afternoon game drives from the water, with elephants swimming and drinking metres away. The best wildlife experience in Africa.
Second day in Chobe — full park game drive inland to the Savuti area (seasonally). Different ecosystem, different species. Lion and wild dog sightings are more common here.
Cross back into Zambia and spend the afternoon and evening on the Zambezi River upstream of the Falls — the most serene part of the entire journey.
Free morning in Livingstone for optional activities — white water rafting, bungee jumping, or zip-lining over the gorge. Afternoon community visit to a local fishing village on the Zambezi.
Final morning on the Zambian side before crossing back to Zimbabwe. Afternoon dugout canoe on the upper Zambezi. Evening farewell dinner.
Final Falls sunrise walk. Farewell breakfast. Airport transfer and onward international flights.

Before you ask
Everything on the included list on this page — accommodation, meals as stated, all ground transport, permits and park fees, your guide team, and every activity in the itinerary. International flights, travel insurance, visas and personal spending are not included, and we never add them later.
Message us on WhatsApp for current booking and payment details. It holds your place and is fully refundable if you cancel 90 or more days before departure. The balance is due 8 weeks before you fly, in a single payment.
Most travellers book alone and join a small group. If you'd rather have the trip run privately for you or your friends, tell us in the enquiry and we'll price it — private departures usually work from two people.
Tell us honestly in your enquiry and we'll say honestly whether it's realistic. On trekking routes we'll often suggest a shorter itinerary rather than sell you one you won't enjoy. Nobody is talked into a trip here.
The itinerary length is fixed but start dates are flexible on almost every trip. Give us the window you're working with — term dates, exam finish, a flight you've already found — and we'll build around it.
