Cycle through the monastic zone — 28 monasteries built by Buddhist nations. Afternoon: meditation session with a resident Theravada monk at the Sri Lanka monastery.
Visit Tilaurakot — the ancient Shakya capital where the Buddha lived until age 29. Afternoon in the surrounding villages with a local guide.
Morning free. Transfer to Bhairahawa airport or back to Kathmandu.
